The Ascent CM344M 24x8 is a next-generation MCNS/EURO DOCSIS 3.0-compliant wireless cable modem, designed for seamless connectivity with standard-compliant CMTS headend devices. Equipped with 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet interfaces, the CM344M features twenty-four bonded downstream and eight bonded upstream channels, delivering a maximum downstream speed of 1200 Mbps and an upstream speed of up to 216 Mbps. Additionally, it functions as an 802.11n wireless access point, enabling high-speed wireless connectivity. With its high data transfer rates, the CM344M 24x8 ensures superior internet performance for Windows, Mac, and Linux computers, as well as HDTVs, gaming consoles, and other Ethernet or Wi-Fi-enabled devices. Its user-friendly design and robust performance make it ideal for both home and small business applications. Multi-Service Operators (MSOs) can leverage the CM344M 24x8 to provide high-speed data services to subscribers, along with value-added offerings such as over-the-top (OTT) content, IP-based video, and voice services.
